Wicked Is a Triumph
I saw these two framed pieces at one of those tables in Columbus Circle, just outside of Central Park. I’m a huge fan of fashion kitsch, and while the top poster is of Breakfast at Tiffany’s obviously, it still fits in with that 50s/60s fashion style that I love so much. Even though ::gasp:: I wasn’t really a fan of that movie.
As for the bottom poster, Sean took me to see Wicked as my birthday gift a couple years ago…it was our first official “date” after having not seen each other in years. Not only is the show phenomenal, and the poster beautifully designed, but there is that sentimental memory attachment to it as well.

not a fan of the movie?? It’s my all time favorite! I would love a print like that, it’s a style I haven’t seen before for BatT’s…*sigh* vancouver sorely lacking in creativity

I know, I know…I didn’t even think I should admit that I’m not a fan. Maybe I just need to rewatch it…I saw it a long time ago and Holly’s character just bothered me. A lot. But I was young…perhaps I should give it another try…
