I love coffee. Sometimes people try to switch my coffee to decaf when I’m not looking. I can always tell the difference. I also like Pringles, but only the reduced fat kind because they crunch better when you bite into them and they don’t leave grease on your fingers. I’m…

When I was looking to buy my wedding invitations (back in April), I found a lot of designers on Etsy. After narrowing it down to a couple different designs/companies, I contacted both for their pricing list. One was pretty significantly more expensive–almost $2 per invitation more. Which I think all…

When talking to people about photography, I hear one phrase over and over again: Kids and dogs are the hardest subjects to photograph.

Playa del Carmen Wedding!

I’m finally getting around to blogging the January destination wedding I did in Playa del Carmen, Mexico! I photographed Julia and Patrick’s engagement photos back in July. They soon after asked me to be a part of their wedding down in Mexico.

I didn’t know quite what to expect–I had never been to Mexico and I wasn’t sure if it was going to be a crazy Cancun-esque party place or if it was going to be a resort-ish area. It was neither…and yet, sort of both. It had the party scene (which I did not partake in until AFTER Saturday evening =0) and it had the resort scene…but it also had this village feel to it. It was like a warm, small community where everyone knew each other and helped each other out. It really made me want to forget life in NY altogether and move to Mexico permanently! That is, until I remembered my puppies stuck in their kennel.

In any case, a special thanks to Julia and Patrick for kicking off 2010 with a bang!

Oooh… They’re all beautiful photos, but my fave is the groom in color. There’s so much personality in that shot!
