I love coffee. Sometimes people try to switch my coffee to decaf when I’m not looking. I can always tell the difference. I also like Pringles, but only the reduced fat kind because they crunch better when you bite into them and they don’t leave grease on your fingers. I’m…

When I was looking to buy my wedding invitations (back in April), I found a lot of designers on Etsy. After narrowing it down to a couple different designs/companies, I contacted both for their pricing list. One was pretty significantly more expensive–almost $2 per invitation more. Which I think all…

When talking to people about photography, I hear one phrase over and over again: Kids and dogs are the hardest subjects to photograph.
I, personally, don’t have this problem with my clients…kids and dogs are among my favorite things to photograph. Maybe it’s because I like to have any excuse…

Last week, Sean and I had our morning coffee on the balcony and watched as the Enterprise shuttle was pulled down the Hudson on a tug boat. It’s on its way to the Intrepid and I can’t wait to see it up close at the museum!

4th of July will be spectacular from your place! In 1986 (God am I old…) we watched the tall ships parade on the Hudson from a condo in West New York NJ then hopped on the train/subway to Battery Park to watch the fireworks celebrating the 100th birthday of the Statue of Liberty. Beautiful! The booming sounds echoing through the buildings - including the World Trade Centers :( - was awesome.

Holy Crap, that’s cool, Colleen! Congratulations on your new digs!!! I hope you love it there.

I’m so unbelievably jealous! That’s an amazing view!

Jeannie, can you believe I never even THOUGHT about the 4th of July. But you’re right…the thought of not having to deal with crowds and nasty public restrooms on that day is so amazing!

Merry - Thank you! It’s so incredibly nice, I can’t even believe this is my apartment! How’s the job search going?

Hi Amber - Thanks so much…it really is such a cool view. To some extent it feels like I don’t deserve this place, but then again, I’ve endured 4 years of really terrible, small places with annoying roommates (not ALL my roommates, though…love ya Linds!). So, maybe I’ve paid my dues? Let’s hope I don’t ever have to go back to a 400 sq foot apartment!
