Than a baby wearing sunglasses? NO! Miss Madison has been a client of mine since she was first born. These were her 9-month portraits taken a few months ago, just as the weather warmed up and the sun came out. She’s always such a little ham for the camera, smiling and posing.
I think she’s getting to the point where she recognizes me and remembers that I’m fun–because, I AM FUN! FUN ENOUGH TO REMEMBER!!! (That’s my excited voice I use to get kids to smile. It’s much better in person, I promise) I’m looking forward to the day that she can say my name and come give me a hug. =0)

This puppy decided to randomly come up to Madison and give her some kisses…

Last weekend I photographed a boudoir session where the subject really wanted to focus in on her tattoos to document them. The photographs turned out SO gorgeous and I’m so happy that she had no reservations about me posting images where her face was shown.
Here’s a handful of my favorites, but there were so many, I could barely narrow them down!

This is Nicole…photographed as Santa’s special helper! She had all the little accessories needed to transform into an adorable little elf. And BOY was she quick to smile! I had never before been in the presence of such a happy baby. Or maybe I was just used to my niece and the way she used to scream. So the laughter was a little startling.
And not to mention, Nicole’s family was so incredibly nice. We all ordered pizza and chatted while we photographed. I really have some amazing clients and I can’t wait to see Nicole & family again soon!

Every time we visit Sean’s family, his mom makes zucchini bread. And it’s some of the most delicious bread I’ve ever had. It’s always so moist in the middle but carmelized on the outside and crust. And in the mornings, she takes it out and puts it on top of the coffee maker so that it heats up while coffee is brewing. HOW BRILLIANT IS THAT??
So, I had asked for the recipe. A while ago. And I just got around to baking my own loaf. And it tasted great–not AS great, but good enough to hit the spot. Only–I have this problem whenever I bake or cook anything. It comes out looking like crap. I don’t know if I just don’t have the correct cooking equipment or what–but seriously? Look at that…doesn’t that look like a big log of poop?

In fact, does anyone remember that movie: Three Men and a Baby II…the second movie where the mom is always trying to cook, but constantly screws it up? Yeah. THAT IS THE STORY OF MY LIFE.
