For the months of May and June, I’m running a joint Mother’s and Father’s Day special for Glamour and Boudoir photography sessions! You’ll receive 50% off of my session fee!!! This fee includes my photography time (usually about 60 minutes for a session), full hair and makeup by one of my extremely talented makeup artists, editing and retouching of your images and a DVD slideshow set to music of your photographs. This session fee is normally $499, but for these two months, they will be only $249.
I know, right! Crazy!
Boudoir photography is changing the face of contemporary woman portraiture–it is not a centerfold picture of you in lingerie. It’s a sensual portrait of yourself…in whatever way you define sexy. That hot little black dress that always sits at the back of closet? BRING IT! The pair of jeans that whenever you put them on makes your hips swing a little more? Let’s do it! That lacy piece of lingerie you could never get the courage to wear? Well, now’s the time!
For men giving as a gift next weekend, email me! I’ll get you set up immediately so that mom has a gift card to open on Mother’s Day.
For the mom’s out there…giving the photos as a secret gift to dad? Let’s schedule your shoot asap so that he can have something to unwrap (other than you!) on Father’s Day!

I’m a nail-biter. When I got engaged, I had to focus very, VERY hard not to chew my nails–because all of a sudden, everyone wanted to see my hands! For a chronic nail-biter, this is terrifying. So, I made a conscious effort everyday to not bite my nails. I would chew gum, drink coffee, always have water by my side…anything to keep my nails out of my mouth.
A few months ago…the novelty of my engagement wore off. People stopped asking to see the ring. The result? I’m back to biting my nails. ::sigh::
And now it’s coming up on my various bridal showers and bachelorette party, sooooo I’m forcing myself to stop again. I think I need to join a support group.

Jen also joined in on the Pin-Up Party Fun! Jen is the fabulous makeup artist that I work with regularly. All the makeup that you see in these pin-up party shots were done by Jen.
The other super fun thing about Jen’s shoot is that she was getting married (is married now)! So we themed her shoot to be retro bride chic. We also played around and had her dress like the “groom” a little bit, too. How cute are these???

To book your own Pin-Up Party, all you need is a few of your friends (minimum 4 girls, maximum 10) and a deposit to secure your date. For only $125 per girl, you receive a 20-minute boudoir shoot in one location, one high resolution digital image and an 8×12 wall print. Or for $195 you receive two 20-minute boudoir sessions in two locations and two high resolution digital images and one 12×18 wall print.

Lately, I’ve had many people who have wanted boudoir shoots for their 1st year anniversaries, wedding gifts to their husbands and Valentine’s Day. Now, of course to respect my clients, I’ve avoided images with their faces (unfortunately the face shots are the most GORGEOUS of the photos), except for a few where I created a “modesty patch” for their protection.
Anyone interested in a boudoir shoot, contact me! I’ve been inspired by other friends and photographers and therefore I’m also running a special where $50 of your price will be donated to either Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund.
