I am Colleen Katana. This is My Website.
I love coffee. Sometimes people try to switch my coffee to decaf when I’m not looking. I can always tell the difference. I also like Pringles, but only the reduced fat kind because they crunch better when you bite into them and they don’t leave grease on your fingers. I’m an actress sometimes, a producer rarely, a photographer most of the time, and a friend always. But on a serious level, and yes I can be serious, I am a work in progress. I believe if you wake up in the morning and fall asleep at night the same person, you might as well have stayed in bed. Life will kick you in the balls—but I kick back harder. I am a dreamer. I am a romantic. I am pragmatic. I am contradictory. I love my family despite their quirks. I trust my friends, though their flawed. And I embrace every battle despite the scars they leave. Although it’s been proven that caffeine is addictive, stunts your growth, and is bad for your teeth, I like it. Because somewhere, deep down, past my Ralph Lauren polo shirts, there lies a rebel. And that bad girl needs her drug.

Hi Colleen. I’m one of your dad’s Latrobe H.S. friends. Your father bribed with a promise of free beer if I visited your site -glad I did; it’s a great site. I love coffee, too. I like to grind my own beans and brew it to “industrial strength.” Good luck in your endeavours.

Instead of doing work, I decided to procrastinate for a few hours and check out websites that my friends and their boyfriends/girlfriends have put up. Congrats for my irish sister with the asian last name
I love your site. You have officially become part of the reason why I never get any work done on the computer!

Hi Colleen,
Your website is great. I particularly enjoyed the conversation with your Mom. Very funny!! So Mom-like. I hope all is well with you and you are all packed up to get out of that God-forsaken neighborhood.
We hope to see you soon.

why do so many people keep congratulating your super lame website?? The more I read, the angrier I get. You really are vapid and annoying … you’re not even from New York!! Ugh! You’re despicable and boring and personality-less (if that were a word) and if you really need to stop dissing Bklyn. If you can’t handle the hood without pepper spray, go back home!!

All I can say to this ‘Liz’ who spewed her intense venom on the 11th is ‘get a friggin life!’ Whether you like or don’t like what Colleen writes about in irrelevant — the fact is that she actually is writing on a regular basis. And part of being in your twenties is that you can actually risk being vapid, annoying, and many other things — everyone attempting to stretch and become something beyond their reach is being very brave. We all fall when we jump. The point is do you fight on and keep trying. Or do you become an angry person attacking other people who actually try to be something special. You could use some therapy or meditation to develop your self-awareness. It would be a better way to spend your days than doing acerbic attacks on those courageous enough to try. In other words, Liz, GET A LIFE!

Just want to make sure that I can write and not get published. A long time ago your Dad told us to access your site and I’m sure glad that I finally did!!!!
So, tell me about privacy - OK? Love your dogs!!!!!!! and all the pictures, and the shoes, and your darker hair goes beautiful with your eyes!!!! :-)}

You know, I really hope that you haven’t given up on fiction, because that third pic would be an amazing author photo. Just sayin’.
